Mögglingen Coat of Arms

Shield Argent, issuant from base a hound Sable (armed Argent and tongued Gules).
Meaning:
The hound displays the arms of the patrician family of Ruhen (also Rüchen or Ruggen). As the tinctures of their arms were not known, the tinctures were chosen arbitrarily. Tongue and teeth are not mentioned in blazon. The family named itself as Mögglingen since the middle of the 14th century.
