Schönenberg Coat of Arms

Shield Gules a fess Argent, flanked by three hammers Argent hafted Or ordered 2:1.
Meaning:
Until 1809 the village was ruled by a reeve of St.Blasien Monastery under the souvereignty of Austria. The arms display tose of Austria with additional hammers, symbolising local mining in the Medieval.
