Schwenningen Coat of Arms

Shield Or a fess dancetty Sable.
Meaning:
The village belonged to the Lordship of Werenwag since the late Medieval. The municipal arms are the family arms of the Knights of Werenwag.

The village adopted the arms in 1896, after having consulted the General State Archive in Karlsruhe. The flag was approved on 29 August 1983 by Sigmaringen county administration, published in GABl 300/1984.
