Renaissance shield Argent parted by a fess wavy Azure, in chief a fish Azure, in base a heraldic rose Gules seeded Or.
Meaning:
Fess wavy and fish are symbolising the name giving Wörthsee, a lake. The municipality was established in 1972 by a merger of Etterschlag and Steinebach. The rose is taken from the arms of the Counts of Törring-Seefeld, as the area historically belonged to the Lordship of Seefeld. The tinctures white and blue are those of Bayern.
