The municipality of Donjimeno (103 inhabitants in 2010; 1,400 ha) is located in the north of the Province of Ávila, 60 km of Ávila.

The flag and arms of Donjimeno are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 6 October 1995 by the Provincial Executive and published on 10 November 1995 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 216 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:
Flag: Quadrangular, yellow with a red bend in base and a white canton. On the canton and on the two sides of the flag is placed the municipal coat of arms.
Coat of arms: Gules a church tower or [...] port and windows azure over waves azure and argent. The shield surmounted with a Royal Spanish crown.
he Royal Academy of History recalled that a new proposal had been
submitted following the rejection of an earlier submission. The coat
of arms recalls the tower of the parish church, which could be
accepted if and only if their was no claim, either in the drawing or
in the description, to accurately reproduce the tower. As already
stated many times, eligible charges in modern coat of arms should be
generic, in compliance with the good tradition, and should not
represent any specific objects or monuments. Accordingly, the arms
should be "Gules a church tower or over waves. The shield surmounted
with a Royal Spanish crown."
The proposed flag is square, yellow with a red bend of unspecified
width. The coat of arms is placed on a white square at the upper left
corner of the flag. It is recommended to move the coat of arms to the
middle of the flag, placed on a white square or directly on the bend.
