Presentation of La Ville-ès-Nonais

The municipality of La Ville-ès-Nonais (1,220 inhabitants in 2019; 434 ha) is located just 20 km south-east of Saint-Malo.
The municipality was established in 1850, separating from Saint-Suliac. It is named for a nun's convent that stand in the center of the village for a long time.

Flag of La Ville-ès-Nonais

The flag of La Ville-ès-Nonais (photo, photo, photo) is derived from the municipal emblem. It includes green and white stripes in the upper third at the hoist, a white Maltese cross on a blue field in the upper third at the fly, and below, separated by a white arch bridge on blue (Pont Châteaubriand, 424 m, buit in 1991), at the hoist a sailing scenery with two boats on a blue field with blue and white stripes below, and in the fly a white field with three blue ermine spots.
