Acceded to the Union of India on Jan.1, 1948, Founded in 1911
Flag:
"The flag is of three horizontal bands in the colors (from the top): red, yellow 
and green, and is used as a state flag of Raigarh. The Princely flag 
is in the 
form of the triangle, red, with the silver (white) eagle outlined in gray. The 
eye of the eagle is rose in color.
