The history of this organization is a little confusing, as it supposedly underwent a name change c. 2002. The photo above (clipped from https://iranwire.com/en/features/7801, c. Oct. 2020) shows the partially hidden "white flag" version of the "Student News Network" (SNN) c.) ct. 2020.

The next flag, irom
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Student_News_Network
shows the full-size "blue flag" version, or at least the network's posted
full-size logo. The "Student News Network" originated in Dec. 1999, but sometime
in 2002 it was renamed as the "Iranian Student News Agency" (ISNA or SNA).
Wikipedia's website for the
"Student News Network" shows the blue logo, but right below that logo it reveals
that the blue logo is for the "Student News Agency".

However, at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iranian_Students_News_Agency it shows a
different logo for the ISNA. So, it is a little confusing for if
the ISNA has replaced the SNN, why is the earlier SNN logo appearing on the
white flag in Oct. 2020? Maybe it's just that the Iranians really don't care; or
maybe they just use them inter-changeably; or maybe they use both.
Regarding what came first, the chicken or the egg --- in this case, the SNN or
the SNA.
In the source picture with the white flag, I noticed that
the student is speaking into a microphone with "SNN" written on it, c. Oct.
2020. Perhaps the SNN has not been re-named as the "SNA" sometime in 2002, but
perhaps the SNN is now a "news analysis" sub-unit of the parent SNA
organization.
This really isn't that much of a "mind game" psychosis
with me, it is just that I try to provide you and FOTW with accurate info and
sensible analysis -- but in this case the info in the sources is a little murky.
