Blazon: På grøn grunn ein skråstilt sølv tvillingstreng laga med taggesnitt. In English: Vert two bends engrailed above and invected below argent.
Approved by the royal resolution of 27 October 1989.
The arms symbolise the many rivers and streams in the municipality.
