It is a typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a field quartered of yellow and blue.

Shield Or, St. George in clad armour Argent (realised as grey) and cloaked Gules, riding a horse forcene Argent (realised as white) bridled Gules and killing a dragon Vert, chief Azure charged with a fountain Argent. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "CALDAS DE S. JORGE".
Meaning:
St. George is the local patron saint.

Caldas de São Jorge Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Santa Maria da Feira Municipality; it had 2716 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 5,6 km².

Shield Azure, two flails Argent in saltire, in central chief a crown Or, in base three corn cobs Or ordered 1: 2. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "SANTA MARIA DE PIGEIROS".
Meaning:
The crown looks like a royal crown, but the official blazon says, it is a "Marian crown". And thus it would be an attribute of St. Mary, the local patron saint and name giver of the commune.
