[This was a] proposal by Anne Kirstine Rønhede around 2000.
"The purpose of the flag was to be a symbol, that does not belong to any
organisation, of coexistence and peace. This World Flag was supposed to exist alongside
the national flags. It was designed in order to be easy to make so that everyone who
wants can make one by themself. The colors symbolize the Earth with its atmosphere in
the middle of the Universe."

The flag was presented by Wikipedia from 2015 [1] to 2017 [2]. Since then, the
only remaining evidence of its real-life use has been a Facebook group administered by
Ms Rønhede [3], whose photo gallery [4] contains the photos of the flag, taken
by various people at various locations, from 2009 to 2015. The color shades and flag
ratio seem to vary a bit, but the disc as a whole seems to always occupy about 4/10
of the flag width, its border being as wide as 1/12 of the disc's overall diameter.
