From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"It was confirmed at July, 14th, 2000 by the decision of 10 city council session 24th convocation. The shield per pale by or and azure. There is argent Scythian site of ancient settlement contour in the center of the shield. On it is placed the argent bell with argent apple flower and azure belt charged by or cross and sun. The contour is framed by or ear entwined by gules ribbon. At the ears intersection are sable crossed sabres and arrow. There is argent rectangular with sable data 1390 on it. The brown chief charged by argent city name on Ukrainian language. The authors are M.Chulko, G.Shenk."

The City

From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"In the 3 century up to AD on this territory there was a city of the Myriv. During mongolo-tatar invasion the settlement has been destroyed. In the end of XIV century the city Nemyriv has been based on this place."
