From Ukrainian Heraldry site:
"It was confirmed in August, 31st, 2006. Per fess by gules and azure. Sacred Ioann Gots'kyi in argent closes. Or mountain in the shape of laying bear drinking from the sea, on the argent meandr, accompanied in the dexter chief by the head of the girl pictured in antique Greek tradition.
Sacred Ioann Gots'kyi was born in Partenit and is patron of the settlement. Bear-mountain is dominant natural object, original card of a settlement and one of most known symbol of a Southern coast of Crimea. The head of the girl reflects the name of a settlement (in translation from Greek - "Maiden"), and also reminds of the ancient people, leaved there and worshipping to the goddess Maiden.
The red reflects courage, force and work, the azure symbolizes beauty and greatness, and in the combination with argent waves - dark blue sea and light-blue sky.
