Description of the flag

Quartered by a dark green upright cross. In upper hoist, row of buildings; in upper fly, a barn scene, in lower hoist a schoolbus on the road, in lower fly a rural scene. Overlain in centre the town seal, a bare tree in front of a white house, surrounded by a yellow ring bearing the town and state name and date of incorporation. Deerfield is in Franklin County.
